Top Wedding Tips

Book a trial! Your wedding is super important and you want to make sure that you are going to LOVE your makeup! Pick a date when you have something planned - where it be a birthday party, engagement or just a dinner date with the fiancé; and take that as an opportunity to get your trial makeup done. This way we have the time to sit down and discuss exactly what you want and if I do something that you don't particularly like, that's fine, we can change it.

Keep hydrated! A bride's skin on her wedding day should be fresh and glowing! Although makeup can give that illusion, it is always best to have a great base to start with. Make sure you drink at least 2 litres of water each day in the last few weeks leading up to your big day. Super hydrated skin makes it so much easier to work with and looks amazing!

Be well groomed! Although I do generally pluck out any unwanted hairs around the brow area, it is best to have the area kempt prior to the day. This will save us precious time, and I can focus more of my time on your makeup rather than trying to shape your brows!

Be clean! I will go over your skin with a cleanser and toner anyway, but please be sure to have a clean face on the day. This means no moisturizer, no foundation, no mascara etc.

Stay in the shade!

PLEASE do not go sunbaking 2 weeks prior to your big day. I can hide slight redness, but I can not do anything about peeling skin. And once foundation is applied, the peeling skin becomes far more visible. Protect your beautiful complexion and wear a daily moisturizer with an SPF of 15 or more.
